King of the Airwaves
Rewind back to February and our guy AJ turned DJ for the day and took over our TikTok LIVE for 4 whole hours! Showing us he’s not just the king of the ring, AJ brought in a number of VIP guests to #KingOfTheAirwaves. With the likes of Munya taking on AJ in a game of Articulate and exclusive performances from Headie One and loads more, it was a mega hit!
Off the back of this iconic weekend, AJ kicked off an all-new mini-series ‘In the Duffle Bag: King of the Airwaves’. Sittin’ down with Ghetts, Jeremy Lynch and Potter Payper across the three episodes, he got the inside scoop on the guys!

Euros 2020
After being delayed a year, the Euro 2020 Championship started an action-packed Summer for us! We launched our legendary #JDPassItOn challenge on TikTok, where tonnes of you guys showed us your moves to be in with a chance of winning £1000!!
Not only that, we linked up with lyrical queen Lady Leshurr and dropped the ultimate song of the Summer, ‘2Gether Now’! Featuring Toddla T, the mega tune was a must-have of every Euros playlist when the Three Lions were on!
Despite our boys falling at the last hurdle, we know we’ll come back even stronger for the World Cup next year.

Love Island
Our huge Summer didn’t end there; we had some HUGE news! For the first time ever, we coupled up with ITV and ITV Hub’s, Love Island.
Joining forces as the official Activewear partner for the series, it was time to #GetGrafting!
With the guys ‘n gals reppin’ the likes of Rewired, Pink Soda Sport and Gym King, we followed that up by launching our JD x Love Island Get Grafting game exclusive to our app!
To top things off, we created the ultimate fitness app to get your graft on. Powered by JD, Love Island Fit lets you workout from home alongside the Islanders! Soccer Aid
The biggest celebrity charity match returned to our screens in September as Soccer Aid for UNICEF took place at the Etihad Stadium for the very first time.
This year was the 10th edition of the iconic England XI v World XI match and wasn’t it a big one! Once again, we returned as principal partners, and with a JD Manchester Arndale takeover in the run up to the game, the anticipation was building!
The World XI took the W, with former Love Island star Kem Cetinay bagging himself a brace and comedian Lee Mack making it 3-0 in front of a packed house! With over £13million raised – making it a record-breaking year – we were overwhelmed by your support and generosity…

JD at Parklife!
That’s right, for this year’s Parklife festival in Heaton Park, Manchester, we turned it up a notch. Over the weekend, we had tonnes of activities going on at our JD stage. From shoebox Jenga to a crep claw machine to win sneaks, we even got to hang out with Love Islander Chloe Burrows to get us in groovin’ on day 1!
Linkin’ up with Crep Protect, we made sure everyone’s festival ‘fit was on point! Full of mega prizes, signature sneaks and bangin’ tunes, it was good vibes all round.
JD Women x Chloe Burrows
But we weren’t done with our fave gal Chloe Burrows just yet…we had a HUGE announcement to make! She became the brand-new JD ambassador on the block, PLUS the first ever face of JD Women. Full of plenty of laughs, fire ‘fits and amazing vibes, Chloe was the perfect person to lead the way for us.

Bugzy Malone
Heading into the festive SZN, Manchester’s finest Bugzy Malone dropped the latest and greatest sneaker from his range, the Skeleton X1’s.
As part of the release, we sponsored the Bugzy Malone Resurrection tour! With dates up and down the country, we caught up with him for a full week of action. Linkin’ up at his London show, we gave a lucky group of fans the chance to join us at the JD Arndale store for an exclusive lock-in with the man himself.
With an intimate live gig and a candid Q&A hosted by JD-regular Specs Gonzalez, we even gave people the chance to winning tickets to his homecoming gig!
Jama & Drys
Takin’ it to a whole new level for one day only, our gal Maya Jama opened the doors to her very first pop-up salon; Jama & Drys.
Teamin’ up with our friends at adidas, her personal salon was packed with rows of glam stations! Maya worked the tills and chatted to the gals as they got dreamy blow drys and lush manicures from some of the best stylists and nail technicians in the game!
JD Street
Christmas time can only mean one thing, we dropped our iconic TV ad! This year, we created the JD Street; a high street transformed in true JD style.
We got together some of the biggest names in music, sport and more, as they ditched their day jobs to pursue new careers on the JD street. As well as our staple JD store, there was a range of shops from grocery stores to dog groomers.
With the likes of KSI, Trent Alexander Arnold, Aitch and loads more huge stars hittin’ the screen, it was MEGA! Not only that, we even challenged you guys over on TikTok to own your street using the hashtag, #JDSTREET.

For one night only we brought our Christmas ad to life! Transforming The Village Underground in Shoreditch into the legendary #JDStreet, we were joined by tonnes of familiar faces as they hit up all of the signature shops. From a fresh shape-up or braids at Jama & Dapaah’s, to mouth-watering treats at Jerk & Dumplings and Jammy Donuts. Our gang could grab their fave drink from Juicy & Delicious.
With custom sneaks available at Jumped Up Dreams, the night was full of serious shapes and unrivalled style. To top it all off, we got special performances from ArrDee, Young T & Bugsey, Shaybo, before a headline performance from Central Cee!
