JD Champs-Élysées Store Opening With Ronaldinho

JD’s new Paris store on the Champs-Élysées opened on Friday, 12th April, with a special appearance from football legend Ronaldinho.

The Brazilian icon, who had a spell at Paris Saint-Germain before making his name at Barcelona, shut down the famous street in Paris as swarms of fans waited to catch a glimpse of their hero.

Here’s the full lowdown on an epic night in the French capital!

JD x Nike x Paris x Ronaldinho

On a sunny Spring evening in Paris, a huge roar went up on the Champs-Élysées as one of football’s greatest ballers stepped onto the balcony of the new JD store and waved to the packed-out crowd.

Ronaldinho had arrived as the special guest of the opening of JD’s latest store and marked it with a moment fit for royalty.

Inside the store, the invited guests received a JD goodie bag and were treated to some tunes from Sixtion DJ’s @melwoods_ and @carlagenus, as well as an appearance from @koba_lad.

There was a T-shirt customisation booth open all-night with artists Zeko and Le Zeste, where guests could get fresh graffiti-style Air Max designs sprayed onto their threads.

It was then time for one of football’s all-time greats to enter the stage.

A World Cup, Champions League and Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldinho is one of the best to ever do it and was met with a huge ovation.

He took questions from the audience and had pictures with fans, all whilst reppin’ the new JD-exclusive Hyper Blue Nike Dn’s.

Guests were treated to a preview of the new Nike trainers and given the opportunity to win a pair with special scratch cards.

The whole night was something special and the ideal way to celebrate JD’s new home in Paris.
