Tell us a bit about yourself…
Hey! My name is Zoë, I’m 24 years old, Personal Trainer and Fitness Blogger. I was born in Tokyo, Japan and shortly after moved to Germany where I grew up. Once I hit 10 years old, I moved to Switzerland, I then ended up living in Malta, which then lead me to the UK!

Where did your passion for fitness start?
My interest in fitness has always stuck with me from when I was a little girl. I remember being the only girl in my class who was excited to get into my PE uniform at school to do cross country!

What motivates you to keep fit?
You only live once. I want to be able to experience and love my life the healthiest I can be. I don’t want my health to hold me back from doing the things I love to do.
I’m always motivated by strength and feeling strong and empowered. There’s nothing better than having a session at the gym and beating that personal best!

What’s your favourite kind of workout?
I’m a sucker for weight training, and love training shoulders. I have quite the obsession and train them almost twice per week. However, I have started to incorporate ‘cross fit’ style classes to my regime to improve my cardiovascular fitness.

What’s on your playlist right now?
KOD – J Cole , such a tune!

What advice would you give to motivate someone who is looking to get fit?
To remind themselves to be patient and to trust the process. Rome wasn’t made over night. To see change we must be consistent, but it’ll come.

Mantra to live by?
Stay positive!

How would you describe your style?
Fitness gear all the way. I would say that it’s fun, functional and girly.

What do you love most about what you do?
I love to inspire people to be the best version of themselves. It’s so rewarding and aspirational to see so many people change their lives to a healthier lifestyle.

What does body confidence and positivity mean to you?
A lot. We were only born with one body, so let’s love it and cherish it! We need to learn to accept ourselves for who we are and be happy in our own skin!

If there was 8 days in the week, what would you do with that extra day?
I would enjoy a long, relaxing day at home tucked up in bed with a cup of tea, catching up on TV that I haven’t watched. It’s very rare that I have time to do these kinds of things and have a day where I can do absolutely nothing.

Three things you can’t live without?
Almond Butter, Chocolate Covered Corn Cakes & my adidas Originals Deerupts.
